Clarity in Diagnosis. Confidence in Next Steps.
An autism assessment is a way to find out if a person has autism. Autism is a condition that affects how people communicate, interact with others, and experience the world around them. The assessment involves answering questions, taking tests, and activities. It might also include input from family members, teachers, or others who know the person well.
An autism assessment opens the door to personalized strategies and lifelong support. An accurate diagnosis leads to informed care, greater self-understanding, and better outcomes.
Benefits of an Autism Assessment:
- Understanding yourself or your child better: It helps explain behaviors, challenges, and strengths.
- Getting support and services: A diagnosis can open the door to helpful resources like therapy, education and/or workplace support.
- Improving relationship: Knowing about autism can help families, teachers, and friends understand and communicate better.
- Planning for the future: It can help with setting goals and making decisions about school, work, or daily life.
Fees for Autism Assessment
The fees for a standard autism assessment typically ranges from $2,400 to $3,000. This fee includes 4 to 6 hours of direct testing time, interviews, and a feedback meeting.
*Insurance policies (or extended health benefits) may offer some reimbursement for fees paid. Please confirm with your insurance carrier and/or employer.
